Training for Global Capability Centres

YOUR GCC IS GROWING FASTER THAN YOUR PEOPLE CAN GROW INTO THEIR ROLES.

GCCs hire quickly, promote engineers into management within a year, and put young support teams in front of global customers. We train the two groups that decide how your centre is seen at headquarters: the support engineers who talk to customers, and the new managers who lead them.

Onsite in Pune the same day. Onsite or live online across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, NCR and tier 2 GCC cities.

TRAINING FOR GCCs IN INDIA

Pitch Perfect India trains tech support teams and first-time managers in Global Capability Centres across India. Programmes are built on your own calls, tickets and teams, and measured on the metrics your centre already reports to headquarters.

What We Hear

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOUR CENTRE?

01

“Our engineers are technically excellent, and CSAT is still flat.”

02

“Customers keep asking to speak to someone senior.”

03

“We promoted our best engineer to team lead, and the team is struggling.”

04

“Headquarters gave us a learning platform. Nobody’s behaviour changed.”

05

“We are hiring faster than we can develop people.”

If any of these is your centre, the rest of this page explains what we do about it, how it runs and what it costs you to find out.

WHAT WE SEE IN GCCs

01

Support teams fix the problem and still lose the customer.

Engineers are technically strong. What goes wrong is the conversation: no expectation set at the start, diagnosis that stops at the symptom, updates promised and not sent, chats closed before the customer agreed. Headquarters sees it as escalations and CSAT, not as a skills gap.

02

Engineers become managers before anyone shows them how.

A fast-growing centre promotes its best performers early. They keep doing the work themselves, manage everyone the same way, and review numbers instead of developing people. Their teams are often very junior, which makes the gap bigger.

03

Global programmes do not reach the India team.

Headquarters licenses a content library or runs a leadership programme designed for another market. It rarely reflects your customers, your tickets or the realities of a distributed Indian team, and nobody measures whether anything changed.

Programme 1

EFFECTIVE TECH SUPPORT COMMUNICATION

For L1, L2 and L3 support engineers, chat, call and email associates, service desk and customer success teams, and their team leads.

What it covers

01

Setting expectations at the start

Telling the customer what will happen, how long it will take and what you need from them, before the first question.
What you get: calmer customers from the first minute.

02

Root cause questioning

An open question, then structured probing: what started, when, what changed, what has been tried, what worked. Then control questions to confirm understanding, with active listening throughout.
What you get: faster diagnosis and fewer reopened tickets.

03

Empathy and ownership

Acknowledging the customer’s situation, owning the issue instead of passing it on, and staying steady when an irate customer shouts.
What you get: fewer requests to “speak to someone senior”.

04

Handling escalations

Judging severity, calming the customer, keeping them updated, and handing over well when an escalation is genuinely needed.
What you get: escalations that are justified, not caused by lost patience.

05

Closing the loop

Silence is never a yes. Every commitment ends with what will happen, who will do it and by when. Every promised update is sent. Chats are closed with the customer’s agreement.
What you get: fewer repeat contacts and better CSAT.

06

Written support

Emails and chat responses that are clear, short and leave the customer knowing the next step.
What you get: fewer back-and-forth messages per ticket.

How it is delivered. Built on your own call recordings, chat logs and tickets. Role-plays run before each concept and again after, so the change is visible in the room. Team leads learn to review calls and coach engineers on the conversation, not only on resolution time.

01

Typical format

Four sessions of four hours, then monthly reinforcement.

02

Group size

12 to 20 engineers per batch, scheduled around shifts.

03

What it is not

Product or technical training. Your team knows the product; we train the conversation around it.

Programme 2

FROM PEER TO LEADER, FIRST-TIME MANAGERS

For engineers, specialists and team leads newly promoted to manage people, or about to be.

What it covers

01

From doer to developer

What changes in the role, what to stop doing, and how to measure success through the team’s results.
What you get: managers who stop rescuing work and start building people.

02

Leading former peers

Setting expectations, earning authority and handling the first difficult conversation.
What you get: a confident start instead of an awkward first quarter.

03

Developmental leadership

Reading where each team member is on each task, and adjusting how much direction and support they need.
What you get: each person managed the way they need.

04

Coaching with IMPACT™

A structure for debriefing any customer conversation or piece of work, so the team member finds the lesson.
What you get: coaching that changes behaviour.

05

One-to-ones, feedback and delegation

A weekly one-to-one that is worth having, feedback that lands, delegation without losing control.
What you get: time back for the manager, growth for the team.

06

Running the team’s numbers

Reviewing work and pipeline in a way that improves it, and reporting upward with confidence.
What you get: a manager headquarters can rely on.

How it is delivered. Live 90-minute sessions with an action to try with the team before the next one. HR and the new manager’s own manager agree the goals at the start and see progress.

01

Typical format

Live 90-minute sessions over one to two months.

02

Group size

One to fifteen managers, including one-to-one.

03

Locations

Live online, so managers across sites and cities attend together; onsite available.

Both programmes are customised to your requirement. Number of sessions, length, topics and format are agreed during scoping, based on what the call audit or diagnosis shows. You can run one programme or both.

HOW AN ENGAGEMENT RUNS

  1. 1

Free call audit or 20-minute call

You send ten recordings or transcripts, or we talk for twenty minutes about your centre. No cost, no obligation.

  2. 2

    Diagnosis

Interviews with engineers, team leads and managers, plus a review of tickets, QA scores and support metrics. You get a written view of the gaps and whether training is the answer.

  3. 3

    Programme design

Built on your cases and your customers, with measures and baselines agreed in writing before delivery.

  4. 4

    Delivery

Onsite or live online, around your shifts.

  5. 5

    Reinforcement

Monthly sessions based on team lead input and your metrics, retraining the skills that are slipping, with AI-based practice between sessions.

  6. 6

    Measurement

Results reviewed against the baseline in your own systems, in a format you can share with headquarters.

START WITH A FREE CALL AUDIT

01

What you send

Ten recorded support calls or chat transcripts, from any mix of engineers. Screen recordings or exported chat logs work as well.

02

What we score

Each conversation on five things: expectation setting, root cause questioning, ownership and empathy, escalation handling, and closing the loop.

03

What you get back

A written report within five working days, with a score for each area, examples from your own conversations, and the three gaps that would move CSAT and escalations most.

04

Confidentiality

Recordings are used only for the audit, never shared or used in marketing, and deleted when the report is delivered. We are happy to sign your NDA first.

Before And After

WHAT GETS MEASURED

01

Support teams

CSAT and customer effort score, first contact resolution, ticket reopen rate, escalation rate, missed updates against SLA, and quality audit scores on questioning, ownership and closure.

02

First-time managers

Team results, one-to-ones held, team feedback on the manager at the start and the end, how quickly the new manager becomes effective, and attrition in their team.

Baselined before the programme begins. Targets agreed in writing. Reported in a format you can take to headquarters.

Our Difference

WHY GCCs WORK WITH US

01

Built on your evidence

Your calls, tickets and team situations, not generic content.

02

Measured in your numbers

The metrics your centre already reports to headquarters.

03

Close to you

Based in Wakad, Pune, onsite the same day across the city, and live online everywhere else.

04

Practitioners, not presenters

Led by a founder with 23+ years across sales, inside sales, operations, customer service and training, and delivered by certified trainers.

05

Small enough to start small

One batch, one team or two new managers is enough to begin.

06

Honest about fit

If the gap is process, tools or hiring rather than skills, we will tell you and not sell you training.

RESULTS FROM OUR WORK

01

Technology support team, global SaaS company

Customer communication programme for support engineers on chat, call and email, built on engineer interviews and call transcripts.

02

IT services delivery team

Delivery people who were never meant to sell learned to open new business inside existing accounts. New opportunity generation by the delivery team rose 17%, reported at the close of the engagement.

QUESTIONS GCC LEADERS ASK

Headquarters already provides a learning platform. Why add this?

A platform gives people access to content. This changes how your team handles real customer conversations and real management situations, and measures the change. Most GCCs use both.

Can you train teams across shifts and locations?

Yes. Sessions are scheduled around shifts, onsite or live online, and managers in different cities attend together.

Our customers are in the US and Europe. Do you cover their expectations?

Yes. Expectation setting, tone and written communication are adapted to the customers your team actually serves.

Do you train on our product or technology?

No. Your team knows the product. We train the conversation and the management around it.

Can the programme be customised?

Yes. Sessions, length, topics and format are agreed during scoping, based on what the call audit or diagnosis shows.

We only have a few new managers. Is that enough?

Yes. From Peer to Leader runs one-to-one or in small groups.

How soon can you start?

The call audit report arrives within five working days. A programme can usually start within three to four weeks of agreeing scope.

Will you sign our NDA and vendor onboarding?

Yes. We will sign your NDA and complete your vendor onboarding and information security requirements.

Can headquarters see the results?

Yes. Measures are agreed in writing before delivery and reported against your own baseline, in a format you can share.

Do you also train inside sales, presales or customer success teams in GCCs?

Yes. Tell us on the form and we will cover it on the call.
